 Dr. Anderson has been voted "Albuquerque's Best Orthodontist" twice by Albuquerque Magazine.Albuquerque Magazine September 2006 Albuquerque Magazine September 2008 Dr. Kimsey Anderson graduated cum laude from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and served as an officer in the United States Air Force. After a general dental practice residency at Wright Paterson Medical Center in Dayton, OH, she practiced general dentistry for 5 years at Kirtland AFB, Albuquerque, NM. She was selected by the Air Force to attend a three-year master’s degree program in orthodontics at the University of Pennsylvania. This program is well known for its exceptional focus on both adult and young children’s treatment. After completing her orthodontic training, she was named the department Chairman for Orthodontics at the Wright-Patterson Medical Center, Dayton, OH, where she taught residents and continued her faculty practice in orthodontics, after serving in the Air Force for 12 years, she returned to Albuquerque and began her private practice in orthodontics. She is a board certified orthodontist with over 25 years experience in dentistry and has lectured nationally to both dentist and orthodontists. Recently, she has been voted twice by her peers as the best orthodontist in Albuquerque The Magazine. She holds professional memberships in the American Association of Orthodontists, the Albuquerque District Dental Society, the New Mexico Dental Association, and the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics. |
