Dr.
Kimsey K. Anderson graduated cum laude from the Ohio State University
College of Dentistry in Columbus, Ohio. Upon graduation she was
commissioned in the United States Air Force and completed a General
Practice Residency at Wright-Patterson Medical Center in Dayton,
Ohio. After the residency program she was assigned to the Dental
clinic at Kirtland Air Force Base. While at Kirtland AFB, her interest
in orthodontics increased and after 5 years of practicing as a general
dentist she was selected by the Air Force to attend a 3 year orthodontic
residency at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine
in Philadelphia, PA. She received a Masters Degree in Oral Biology
(M.S.O.B.) and a specialist certificate in orthodontics. Immediately
following her residency program, she taught orthodontics in Advanced
Education in General Dentistry residency program at Wright-Patterson
Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. Like Dr. Harnick, she is a board
certified orthodontist and holds the status of Diplomate by the
American Board of
Orthodontics. She holds professional memberships in the American Dental Association,
The American Association of Orthodontists, the Albuquerque District
Dental Society and the New Mexico Dental Association. Kim is married
to Mark Franz, Ph.D. who works is the Chief of the High Power Microwave
Division for the Air Force Research Lab at Kirtland AFB. Her interests
include skiing, reading, aerobics, hiking, art, cooking, golf and
biking.
